And jet lagged. Woke up today at 1420hr, after sleeping at 6 am. I couldn’t go to sleep at all. argh!

Meeting Patrick and Glen later for makan. HUNGRY! (:

1 1/2 hours more! FINALLY.

Am now in Amsterdam airport,where I touched down amidst a huge envelope of fog and mist, and rocky turbulence. It was just about an hour on the plane, and was here before I knew it.

ARGH, 3 1/2 hours have passed. UGH. I feel so stoned. Hungry, but I don’t want to eat now coz I know we’d be getting makan on the plane. Been chomping on Polo mints, yum. I like those sweets!

Sat next to a cheerful jovial old lady on the plane, and we were happily chattering away. Cute la she. Was telling me about her itinerary, which was something like Manchester to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Beijing, Beijing to Guangzhou, and Guangzhou to Sydney. She was going to visit her daughter, who went to Aussie for a holiday and decided she liked it there, and so made a decision to stay. Haha, quite impromptu. But well, life can’t be all planned and structured all the time, can it? (:

Shoulders are aching SO BADLY. ): From last night, ugh. Gonna just crash on the plane, whee. SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP! And read my book. Entertainment for the night, this book called “The Dante Club”. It’s a mystery/thriller sorta genre, and I haven’t read one of these in a long time. So it’s quite refreshing!

Charging ipod now! So I got some entertainment on the plane.

I think right, my hair is too long. Should I cut, or should I not?

It’s actually quite nice sitting here, using the computer and watching the various commuters rushing to their gates. Haha. I wish my connecting flight was earlier. But well compared to coming home on Emirates, this is much better. Emirates have a 12 hour connecting time. That’s madness, what am I supposed to spend 12 hours in Dubai for anyways. =/

Was watching this Hong Kong movie called Dumplings just now, and it’s so disturbing, yet, morbidly interesting. Shan’t go into details. Quite gory -shakes image out of mind-

I think I’d start packing up and walking to the gate in about 45 minutes time. This time right, I was smart enough to ask for an aisle seat. -cackles- The last aisle seat went to me. LOL. It’s so impractical to sit all the way inside.

しゃしぶり！Long time no see!

The examinations are over! FINALLY (: -headbangs to random anime opening song- I am liking this song very much! It’s from the anime “Sola” which I absolutely love.

ANYHOOOO, two questions and 20 mcqs for today’s paper. It went preeeeeetty well, considering the fact I’ve been an absolute maniac when it comes to Parliamentary Sovereignty this time round. Been practicing loads of questions which are about to same, so yeap, today’s essays wernt absolutely wonderfully. Thought I should have developed on the points a little more, since I had about 15 minutes to spare, but well, HECK LARH. -grins-

Went to town with Smin and Jiar Li just now, and did a nice spot of shopping. Bought a new pedestal mat and a bath mat for the toilet, so I’d be all happy when I come back here in about 3 weeks time when I see a nice toilet. (: Hoovered the room, and uncovered crazy little Mr. Dust Bunnies beneath my luggage, which I vehemently vaccuumed into the crazy noisy contraception. It must be running about getting acquainted with the rest of his family in the dirt bag inside the vacuum. Ha.

Planning what bag to bring back home. I’m thinking of bringing just a handbag with a book, my essentials and my laptop onto the plane. When I left I had SO much handcarry luggage. It was TORMENTING. With that HUGE bag filled with books which could not fit in the luggage AT ALL, and other stuff. And my laptop in its bag in another bag. And when I reached customs, I had to remove my laptop bag from the outer bag, and take out my laptop. So troublesome. So this time, I’m gonna play smart and bring as little stuff as I can on the plane. (:

Oh yes, I had an absolutely yummy Beef Hor Fun today! Went to Happy House (yes what a stereotypical Chinese-Restaurant-in-the-United Kingdom name), and I had that. GOODNESS, it reminded me of the Beef Beehoon I had in Yet Con, OH YES I CAN GO EAT AT YET CON SOOOON!!! Gotta make plans with Glen, and Patrick to go there! And durian. ACK durian. I miss duriaaaaan. They sell durian here, but they’re frozen solid, and they’re all Thai. -sulks-

New phone on it’s way soon! Motorola F3, hope it comes into stock soon! It’s an absurd 7.95 quid for it, and I don’t even need to get a contract with that. I can just use a top up number with that. Damn, why are phones SO cheap here =/ It’s out of stock, but Smin offered to get it for me next Monday! (: YAY!

I just had a really random supper. At about 11.20 pm, I bumbled over to Chen Ge’s room, and declared that I wanted to eat noodles, and she joined me for a spot of mushroom chunks in chicken ramen, with spicy korean bean sauce, and crispy shrimp. And I started poking in the fridge for vegetables I need to clear, and I realized that I had a broccoli left, and also a box of trimmed fine beans. So random me, decided to cook the beans too.

HEE.

Almost done packing! (: Using my huge ass luggage, and am going to empty it coz 1/3 are for the sister, and the mother, and the kids, and etc etc. So I can bring loads of yummy food back from Singapore and stock up my cupboard. -grins-

EEYER, can’t wait! It’s 12.27 am now, WHICH means that I’d be leaving for home tomorrow! I can’t believe this day has finally come (: -does a little jiggle!-

Okay, I’m gonna see what else I need to pack. Oh I can’t. All the rest of the clothes I want to bring home are going in the laundry tomorrow. Oh wells, I’d bumble off for a another spot of anime. BYEBYEEE!

Got my assignments printed out, gonna just hand the two in tomorrow, and so I’ve got Friday free to do nothing and laze about. ONE MORE DAMNED PAPER TO GET THROUGH! And also, the Linkin Park Concert which I’m really looking forward to. Going with my sminie. HEHE. Exciting.

Tort was okay I guess! Barely finished, but at the least, all the questions are finished. =/ Time was really tight. Didn’t even have time to check through. Oh wells.

Am hooked on detective based animes/dramas again. Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo is not bad! Though really old and I don’t like old- styled animes. And Conan the Detective is nice too! (: Watched the Live action one, and too bad, only the first episode has been released. Think they stopped encoding it. Oh wellsh ):

I fell a little wittle sick today, poo! But popped 6 vitamin c pills which Chen Ge gave me and I think that nipped my upcoming flu in the bud. (: YAYNESS.

So many things I want to do when I get home. Bbq, preparing for Chinese New Year, having Eve dinner at my grandmothers, and catching up with friends, and family, and to give my cat a great big hug coz I miss that silly old black cow so so much. ):

Very soon, I’d be able to do all that.

Doodidum.

This has got to be one of the most idyllic days I’ve had since the start of the new year. Spent the day doing.. well.. nothing. ‘Cept watch CSI, Anime, and hanging out by myself. Oh damn, just checked Crunchyroll for any new episodes, was hoping another episode of Moyashimon would be uploaded. Oh well.

Went out at about 2 today, just for a walk, get some fresh air, and to get some exercise. It was quite nice, walking on my own in the Moor, with a very slight drizzle, and just taking in the sights and sounds of the bussling shops. Went to say hi to the fruitsmonger, and he told me to come back tomorrow for more fruit. Wanted to get some pears, haven’t had them for quite a long time. Bought my vegetables, and random stuff from Home Bargains, and clothes for the sister and comfy shorts for myself.

Tomorrow, work starts, yet again. I cringe. But well, not long till the exams, and the time to go home. -cackles- 9 more days, 9 MORE DAYS! Oh what a long 9 days. ack.

Tired;

Been doing work almost continuously for the past 3 days, trying to finish up my assignments. And I am very proud to say, that I’ve finished all my assignments.

The past few days have been wrecking havoc on me. I think I’m just going to crash and go to sleep. Goodnight world. I shall be sleeping in tomorrow, ah. The bliss.

miss my little miao 2 a lot. It’s quite sad coz I never knew what happened to him.

I hope he’s in a place where he can never be sick anymore.

It’s raining again.

But today was a day of really nice weather. Went to Meadowhall this morning at 11, and walked and walked and walked for 7 hours before going home. Glorious weather all the time I was out though, great. I saw the sun! I haven’t seen it for 3 days straight. It’s been all wet, dreary and miserable lately.

Lets see, what do I have to do tomorrow? I’ve got to get my Case Critique typed out, and foot noted, and also to add any remaining points to my Contract assignment, and footnote it. And I’ve got to practice more Public questions, and settle mushroom shopping.

I do so want to go Mushroom Picking. I wonder if there’s any farmstays which offer wild mushroom picking too. =/ It sounds like an awfully fun idea, and I’d fancy that very much. I hope I can find something!

I got a pair of jeans today, and they’re very comfortable. (: So I’m happy. And a bag. I wanted another one too, and when I saw it was on sale (7 quid!), I did a little jiggle, and danced to the cashier. And it turns out that the tag was wrong. It probably just came off some other bag and adhered itself to the bag I want. In the end, it was actually 18 quid. Which is too damned expensive. -sighs- I do so like that bag a lot. =/

14 days till I reach home. Yay, I’m doing my little own countdown. -grins-

And I got very very very cute ladybird pins today! A box of 20 little ladybird topped pins. SO CUTE! I’ve got a weakness for ladybirds. It reminds me of the one which A301 had for half a day. I remember telling Sean that I think ladybirds were cute, when we were walking up the stairs, and he went, “Oh, there’s one, just there.” It was so coincidental! But it died the same day. Oh wells.

Saw a ladybird knickers at Topshop today, but I had to get 3 in total. I only liked that one, poo. It was much too expensive for knickers, 3 for 7 quid. =/ No way I’m gonna pay that. hahaha. And OH, I saw a ladybird hairband. But well, I don’t wear hairbands either. So, I passed on them.

OK, I’m gonna pack up the mess on my bed, and curl up and flip through my new cookbooks. (: Goodbye!!

I bought a new cookbook today from Blackwells. It’s called “Wild Garlic, Gooseberries, and me”, and it’s all about vegetables. Many of the recipes sound yummilicious! Can’t wait to start experimenting. Bringing it back for Huining too. -grins-

16 days till my flight, wow how time flies! ALMOST THERE, ALMOST THERE! I can’t wait. -tingles with excitement-

The heat alarm in the kitchen has been ABSOLUTELY IRRITATING! It’s been going off forever, and I just feel like getting a sledgehammer and bashing the thing off the ceiling! It emits this really loud high- pitched squeal everything half a minute or so. But the funny thing, it’s shit ass cold in the kitchen. (Radiator’s off) Weird weird, and irritating heat alarm. =/

OK I’m going to go type out Draft 1 for the Case Critique, and go to sleep. Going to Jiar Li’s place tmr to study (:

Ate 2 cookies today! Baked them. (I used a pre mix, just add 30ml of water, and mix, -cackles-) Easy, and cheap, and tastes good.

Oh yea, am watching this anime now called “Manabi Straight!” It’s so cute!!!!!!! -squeals-

And with all the anime I’m watching, I still have got time to finish my work. Well, at least everything’s on plan, hope all goes well. -crosses fingers and toes-

OH I totally forgot I was going to post something! I started watching more anime. hehe.

And I cleaned the kitchen today! Hoovered it, scrubbed the wall tiles, and the hob, and washed and kept all the dishes and cutlery. And packed up the array of bottles of oil, tomato sauce, brown sauce, soya sauce and what nots on the table top. And shook out all the bread crumbs in the toaster, and wiped the kettle. Too free. But since I got started, I might as well clean the entire damned kitchen. haha.

OK, i’m gonna watch a little more of anime, and head to sleep soon. Ta love. (:

Pitter Patter;

The raindrops on my window pane.

It’s quite calming, sitting here, with lovely music blasting, and hearing the rain drip from the overhang, and on my window pane. There’s just a little breeze, how nice. It’s not too cold tonight!

My pink flowers are dying…. I think they’ve reached the end of their lifespan. Sad to see it go, it’s been there for the past 3 months, and I feel quite attached to it.. Poor thing!

Tummy keeps squealing! There’s like gases (how gross!) churning about in my tummy, and it’s making funny noises like “squealch!” or “squeeeerrrghhh…” or something like that.

Didn’t do any work today =/ I spent the entire day watching anime, yet again. Finished 3 series yesterday and today, erps. I feel a little guilty. OK, fine, I feel very guilty. Tomorrow I’d be studying in Jiar Li’s place, no distractions! No internet connection there, and I’m not going to bring my laptop. Think I’d be studying White v Jones tmr, need to get started on Tort. Been neglecting tort a lot.

Which reminds me, I’ve got to start on practising for Public.

20 days till I go home! It seems like such a short time!

I’m leaving on the 26th, hope the concert on the 25th doesn’t end too late! LINKIN PARK! WOOHOO. Hope it’s great to watch (: And I’ve got no idea where it is.. HMM. I should ask Smin tomorrow (:

OH, and I finally settled my rail tickets to get to Manchester Airport! I was trying to buy rail tickets online, and I ALMOST got the wrong tickets. There’s like 3 or 4 different rail stations in Manchester, almost bought the one going to Manchester Piccadilly instead to Manchester Airport. -phew-

That would have been rather troublesome.

Been eating nonstop the entire damned day! I had yoghurt in the morning, 2 chicken drumsticks, cod fish, another tub of yoghurt, and a little bit of cheesecake today! AH.

Yoghurt’s nice. They have quite interesting flavours here, like Rhubarb, Hazelnut, or Cranberry. I like this one from Muller, which has a little pot of stuff you can mix in! There’s one with vanilla and chocolate digestive balls, and one banana yoghurt with chocolate covered cornflakes, and toffee yohurt with chocolate tops. They’re all very yum (: Though a little expensive! There’s this Tesco’s yoghurt which is.. 18p for a pot, and it tastes absolutely yummy. The Muller one is about 48p a pot, but well it tastes good so nevermind. -beams-

I can’t wait to get home and have a nice barbieque with my sister and everyone else!

And my apple crumble/lasagna/eggplant pastitio/cheesecake/whatever I might have missed out date with my roo roo. (:

I go to sleep at night thinking about the 26th. (: AHAHA. I think I miss home more than I think I actually do.

The lemon cheesecake turned out just fine. Though I was a little afraid that it might be a little bitter from the lemon. But oh wells, fears gone!

My shift key went wonky just now. I was pressing “shift” and “1″ just now trying to get “!”. But after backspacing and trying a few times, I got a stupid “1″. Blah. I bashed it back in. -cackles-

OH yes! It started snowing really heavily today! So random. It was quite magical coz I woke up and the roofs across my window were all awash with white frost. きれい！Today was quite crap coz I keep backtracking. Let’s see, this is what happened.
1) Leave house to go to the Information Commons
2) Decide to get mail
3) Decide to chuck the mail upstairs
4) Leave house to go to the Information Commons
5) Reached Information Commons
6) Realized that my wallet’s at home, with my uni card. Without it, I can’t get in to the I.C.
7) Walk back in the falling snow to get my damned wallet
Walk back to the I.C. in the heavier snow.

It kept getting in my hair!!! It is a bit fun coz it’s the first time in 12 years that I walked in the snow. But it’s so inconvenient! Well. less irritating compared to rain. At least with snow, I can just brush it off.. hehe.

It turns out that;

My raspberry cheesecake is quite sweet. –> Makes note to myself to put less sugar in it the next time I make it. OH. I should go take a photograph of it -nods-

(part of it though~; gave some to my flatmate to try, and ate some myself)

So today, for Jiarli and Smin, I made a lemon cheesecake! This time, less sugar, and with a good dose of grated lemon rind, and lemon juice! Now the fridge smells like lemons. WHEEHEE.
