Spent the last couple days catching up with work coz I was skiving off last week when I got back to Sheffield.

And my days have been filled with too many strawberries coz Tesco and Sainsbury have been filled with them, all at half price.

and not forgetting Mr. Blackberry!

This has been a pretty fruity post, hasn’t it? (:

Anyways, I spent the day today, cleaning and vacuuming the room. Little hair balls appearing on the carpet. Grr. The thing about living in a room that’s carpeted is that there’s so many places for dust to hide, and for hairs to get lodged into. I prefer parquet so much more. -nods solemnly-

Think I’d bumble back to doing some public law readings, and to get some of the stuff I need to get printed printed. Till again (:

OMG, scary anime. Am watching Tokko now, and 5 minutes into the first episode has already freaked me out beyond words. -shudders-

Bought a lovely box of strawberries today, and a box of blackberries. I finished the strawberries at one go whilst watching Holly Oaks with Beck coz I was too hungry. Heh.

Had a lecture today, and I was so tuned to the fact that it was merely an hour’s lecture. So after the first hour, I happily packed up, and I was next informed that it was a two hour lecture. Damn.

Am going to be staying in Victoria Hall next school year, already confirmed. (: Glad so, so used to this place too.

Ok, I’m going to finish watching the first episode of Tokko, and settle down for some Public Law readings. Toodles.

Downloaded and installed VeohTV, which is a godsend. I can watch all my favourite licensed animes and stuff like that! Am watching Air now, the first installment of the tri series with Clannad and Kanon. Absolutely lovely.

Lights are back on! Yay, it’s good to have them back once again. Fumbling around the house in the dark looking for pathetic torchlights, and trying to stay warm coz the radiators weren’t working was pretty fun. But it got horribly inconvenient coz nothing worked and we couldn’t have hot foods at all.

Where am I going to stay for the next school year? ): oh where, oh where. -sighs- I hope I can settle soon, but I think I’m going to end up staying back in Victoria Hall again. I hope it’d be the same room! I like my room

I awoke today at 7 30 in the morning, and with bleary eyes trying to readjust to the still slumbering world, I saw a sheet of white outside my window, and the sky shrouded in a thick white mist.

And I yanked my comforter to my throne in front of the window, and sat there, looking at the snow drift down gently, whilst safely and warmly wrapped in my thick duvet, still slightly warm from the night before.

I am back in Sheffield, after a butt breaking, ass numbing flight, and many many many many hours of waiting here and there. The flight was pretty unbearable, and I have got absolutely NO idea how I managed to survive the 13 hours of hell in the last row of the aircraft.

Went nuts at duty free at Schiphol Airport, and I bought bottles of perfume, for nothing in particular. It was nice, and it was cheap, so buy. -cackles- Saw this new mascara, and I bought it. It’s quite different from this Maybelline one I was using before. It has the two words “Volume” and “Shocking” on it, and I was thinking, haiyah, can’t be like what the ad actually portrays. (Was looking at the ad in the shop, and her eyelashes were.. crazy) So yep, I just decided to buy it, and when I tried it just now, it was really that scary. hahaha. Lives up to its name. Though it was a little expensive, about 12 euros for this, but I think this one really gives that oomph. haha.

And I bought my Dior perfumes, sexy! It’s a collection set, of the 4 in the Poison series. Pretttyyyy (: I’d take a peekture of it someday, when I’m not this tired.

It’s good to be back in Sheffield, even though I miss home so much.

haiyah, going back already!

I realized that I actually started a post last night, but totally forgot about it coz I was so damned tired last night, so I’m just gonna blog for the last time in Singapore. (not that I’ve blogged a lot! haha)

The past few days have been absolute manic. I met my dears, Jas and Zitian, at the Hong Kong cafe for a bite at night, which was wonderful! And I managed to meet up with Annie and Sam, and catch up with them properly, which was equally as wonderful. I had a good talk with Annie, and I know I’m really going to miss her a lot!

Met up with Aimee and Glen yesterday, for a good hearty meal at Yet Con, my favourite! Managed to say bye to Krishie too. And Sushi Tei with Anru, followed by a random donut for dessert, and an odd sticky fudge cake at Cartel. Lastly, I finally finally FINALLY got to meet my rara, my purply tennis-ey friend. (:

So basically I did most of what I wanted to do, meet up with most of the people I want to. Though there’s like a whole bunch more that I haven’t met, and would dearly love to. ): But that can’t be helped. -sighs-

Looking at my cat sitting on my laptop bag. How cute. -hugs sick cat- She’s been having the sniffles again. haha,and I think she passed it to me. that’s what my mother says anyways =/

Saturday’s getting closer and closer. I haven’t met everyone I want to meet, haven’t done anything I want to do, and I’d probably not have time to do another load of laundry before I go home. Ha, I’d just have to do them in Sheffield.

Results are coming out on Thursday! WHEEHEE. I hope I do okay.

I watched Cj7 today, and it was an absolutely nonsensical show. It wasn’t even entertaining =/

And I bought my hoodie today, I like!

I better start preparing what I want to bring to the UK soon. I know I’d push it to the last minute, and end up all flustered and rushed =/

I think that was the moment my father starting meowing from his throne in the living room, and distracted the cat. (: but it’s still a pretty nice picture!

Chinese New Year is never a quiet affair at my grandmother’s place (: I always love this time where we’d all sit around, and partake in a yummy steamboat and the array of dishes my grandmother would always whip up for the first day. (:

And this was our family dinner on the first! (: We had yummy oatmeal prawns, fuyong egg, braised duck, and razor clams in a spicy lime/chilli marinade.

And my cat emo-ing again, looking at the traffic pass by. She does that a lot. (she’s sleeping next to me right now, aawwee how schweet!)

My mother told me to go back to sleep, or at least pretend to, this morning. And I was wondering what she was up to. And I heard a camera click sound, and her giggling. She just had to take a picture of me lazing about in bed with my cat sleeping next to me. I was holding my cat’s tail whilst snoozing though, subconsciously.

That reminds me. My grandmother when giving me my angbao (cackles) told me: 快点结婚啦！so she can save on angbao. HAHA. EVIL. (:

Chinese New Year has been an absolutely wonderful time (: HEHE. I don’t wanna go back to Sheffield! But I’ve got to. It’s not that it’s horrible there, but I think home’s always better. -grins-

I do hate it vehemently

Whenever I go into sneezing fits. It makes my eyes water, and my nose itch, and my throat irritated.

We went to the market at 1 am this morning! and it was absolutely deserted. No one much was there. And our normal vegetable seller we go to wasn’t there yet, so we just grabbed our vegetables from another random stall and left. Had nasi lemak for supper after, but I think it was lacking that oomph. And she was horribly stuck up, the woman dishing out the dishes.

Been nursing a tummy ache today, sad.

Loads of yummy food to look forward to tmr! (: I’d definitely take loads of photographs, that’s for sure! (:

I cleaned up the kitchen again! And scrubbed all that should be scrubbed. And cooked my dad his steak, which he was craving for. Oh crap, I left the remaining 2 steaks in the other kitchen. Better go down and clean it.

I think I’ve been neglecting this blog for quite a while! (:

Time to update on what I have been doing the past (lemme count!) 7 days since I got home! I spent most of the first two days being super jet lagged, waking up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon and sleeping at 6 am. It was quite a crazy time, so on Tuesday, I decided that I can’t take such a lifestyle anymore, and decided to not sleep so I could sleep at a normal sg time. Which I did, and nearly died from the fatigue the next day.

And after was Ngoh Hiang making! Bought like 2.3 kg of prawns, 1.5 kilos of pork mince, and also loads of chestnuts. I think this year’s was the most we’ve ever made, topping 60, if I’m not wrong. Gonna give some to the granny, and also some to my aunt and etc.

We made pineapple tarts too! Which looked like little cute mandarin oranges.
