Turned off all my lights, and now am sitting in front of the computer chilling, and stoning for perhaps another twenty minutes before I go to bed.

I made it through the 27th. I made it.

It’s already been a month since my baby went. A long month, but yet, seems very short. Time does fly. Oh so quickly.

Starting to begin on my revision, and I’ve already commenced on public law revision. The thing is how to revise for Understanding Law 2 when there’s only one paper released. Well, I’d just do my best.

I really wanna go home now.. argh. How many more days arh. 2+31+3 = 36 days. Wow, SOON. OMG, I can’t wait.

Already planned what to do also. So far it’s confirmed steamboat at Bugis with flor and sue on the 9th. haha, we’re too eager to go home, I say.

This really made my day (: I remember standing at the window in the kitchen, grinning hopelessly to myself. Rainbows are much loved <3

And carnations which I had to buy. They were calling my name so much, and at a reduced price of 75p for a huge bundle, I just had to buy it. Bought two bunches, one of those two colours, white and yellow, and the other bunch of orange and pink carnations. Pretty (:

Cuppycakes which I bought at Waitrose. Sinfully sweet though, but I just had to grab some when I saw them in the Pattisserie counter. (: They’re Peppermint and Choc, Banana and Toffee, and Cherry and Gerunium, in the clockwise direction starting from the green one.

And this is Yee Huai’s chocolate cake, which she lovingly sent to Vic Hall for me! Thanks dear! It was really yummy (: Can you believe that the fudge on it is actually made out of mashed potatoes, and that the cake was infused with the familiar aroma of Chinese Five Spice? I thought that was really really cool (:

So old school, no? (: Joe Daniels and his Hot Shots in Drumnasticks, haha, cute name I wonder what my sister’s gonna do with them. It apparently involves an oven, high temperatures, and melting. Intahrezting.

My new obsession, the ending theme song from Vampire Knights. Horribly chilling, and very eerie. OO, I love (:

Oh man, my favourite polar bear pants has a hole in them! I stood up and suddenly I heard, “PRREAACK” and I saw this HUGE hole. AAWWEE, blast it.

Now I need to go home and look for my snow man pants. These pants are so comfy, and I think i can’t do without them!

The week’s over, which is good. But that means I’ve got only a few more weeks till the exam! Which equates to fervent shaking of heads, and mugging, and the various different poses of hugging whatever deitys’ legs.

Anyways, I discovered a new fave anime, which is called Junjou Romatica. Which is a yaoi anime. I think it’s blarghable that all the good love- storylines are all in yaoi animes. 0_0 but still, this is good. Funny, and quirky, and with its bits of love, and the odd scene of humour. (:

Ack, crazy drunk people downstairs again. I think a lot of students here only come to uni to get laid/get drunk/go clubbing/go more clubbing/get their livers destroyed. What sad lives. By the time they’re 30, they’d have non-existent livers, I tell you.

Need to get started on Tort Seminar readings, which is tomorrow, and still untouched. At least today I finished my Colloquia project, which I’m SO GLAD I MANAGED TO FINISH, TIME, AND SETTLE ALL FUNNY/IRRITATING ANIMATIONS AND TRANSITIONS AND WHAT NOTS.

Okay, that was a long string of capital letters, haha.

Oh bugger, I’ve got a tummy ache now. ): Tummy aches are not nice.

I can’t believe it’s mid week 8 now! Where has all the time gone to?!!?!?!!???!!!

OMG, I really feel like sleeping. Okay, I shall just check out what I’ve got for tort and bugger off to bed.

My day today (:

Today was spent at Alton Towers, which was SUCH GOOD FUN!

The first ride we went on was the Oblivion, which was a verticle drop from quite a high spot into a pitch black pit, where we’d emerge from the other end. That, in my opinion, was the SCARIEST!!

I was sitting in the front row. The thing is that the ride will stop at the edge of the track, and I was in the first row, so I was facing that pitch dark hole, and suddenly, it just fell. The feeling was amazing, like you were so out of control. I couldn’t even scream, I think!

Think we sat all the rollercoasters, Oblivion the first, Rita the Queen of Speed, Corkscrew, Nemesis (twice!), Air, and Spinning Whizzer, which was AWESOME! (:

Okay, I think I haven’t posted anything in a long while.

Updates first, I’d be back on the 5th of June, at 5 15 pm, so I’m happy! Changed my timings to come home one entire month earlier. Thinking that there’s really no point spending that extra month in Sheffers, coz I know I’d spend more pounds than the money needed to change that date. So yearp, home on the 5th of June, which is less than two months away!

Woke up late for this morning’s lectures. I couldn’t drag myself up at 7 30 in the morning. Woke up, bumbled to the table, and turned off the alarm, and turned back around, and stumbled right into bed. So, yeap. Missed the 10-12 lecture..

Teeheehee, there goes my record for the past two weeks. Oh wells oh wells.

It looks like it’s gonna pour again! I woke up yesterday to a sheet of white on the roofs again, and apparently about 15 min after I went to bed, there was a heavy snow storm. I missed it! Saw the odd remains of snow-men whilst walking to Bart House. Haha, think the people must have went mad with all the snow pouring down. lol.

Seriously, what happened to Spring. It’s still snowing, and more often at that, during April. 0_0

I am proud to say that I have finally finished THREE Units worth of work, after 4 hours of mad, hysterical typing at the laptop.

YAY!

Felt really frustrated just now after dinner, but after ranting, I feel MUCH better. (:

Now, whether to go for tomorrow’s seminar or not. Choices choices. (Btw, I have gone for the same seminar. If my contract tutor was ANY good, I’d go. BUT she isn’t =/)

my flatmate cooked an extremely potent chicken dish for me, with loads of szechuan peppers and dried chillis and ginger. It was so good, but omg, so spicy! My cheeks are flushed red from all the heat, haha.

Haven’t seen myself this red for a while. LOL.

Found a new anime to watch, called 半分の月が昇る空, which translates to “Gazing at the Crescent Moon in the Sky” and it’s so touching. I think this is almost as good as Kimikiss Pure Rouge for me, almost. Too bad it’s a little tad short, just 6 episodes. Think 26 would be a nice number for episodes for me, but well, I have a feeling this one is one of those that would only remain nice if it was kept short and simple.

I think my ability to read hiragana has decreased a lot! Poo. Not to mention my non- existent ability to read katana and kanji. ):

I can’t believe that exams are next month! And that in two months from now, I’d probably be home already! (: Wow, time really flies!

And I so need to finish my Learning Diary today. TODAY. I’m gonna etch it in my mind.

A nice night to sleep;

Drizzling softly outside right now, and the wind gently blowing. I think I’d go off to bed right after this quick post.

I bought myself a new pot today! A spanking new stainless steel 24 cm stock pot, which only was 9 pounds, and the first thing I used to cook it was bak kut teh, which I was hopelessly craving for the past 2 weeks. Decided today during lecture that I couldn’t wait any longer for that, and i just cooked it today (:

Going to Tesco’s tmr with Chen Ge to pick up necessities, and yearp, loads to buy. Especially the real cheap things that seem to only appear in that huge Tesco’s at Infirmary. Shall plan my list tomorrow before I go out (:

Bed looks awfully welcoming now, think I shall clear it of books and clothes, and go straight to bed.

Today;

Had quite a good day today, in fact, one of the more smooth- going days. Didn’t have to rush for anything in particular, didn’t have to try to read all my readings for the seminar in one hour or something. So yayness.
Had my public seminar today, and it was okay. Discussed the (extremely tiresome) colloquia project on the right to silence, and came up with quite a nice outline to it all. Which is good news.

Irritating person on the table which I’m playing mahjong on, and she’s boasting about her life as a tai tai. Brainless.

gah, and OH YEA, I finished my non-assessed work today. Which was really easy coz my brain felt really clear today and everything that I wanted to place in my essay came almost instantaneously when I started thinking of it. Yay to non-mental-block-days (:

I just found this set of cat grooming brushes that I bought for my cat last year, but never got the chance to bring it back for her and set them up for her to scratch herself with.

Well, good news, I did go to all my lectures today (Hooray to me!)

Woke up at 8 30, and was thinking of taking my bath when I decided that it was too cold, and decided to turn the radiator on full blast and close my window tight to heat up the room a little. So I decided to pop back into bed for another half hour’s worth of shut eye.

When I woke up next, it was 11 15, and my lecture was starting in a grand total of 45 minutes, it was like “SHIT!”. Literally leapt form the bed, into the toilet, washed up, and tied up my should-already-have-been-washed hair, and grabbed my stationery and paper and textbook, and ran into the kitchen. Gulped down a cup of water, said a quick “GOOD MORNING!” to Nikki and Chen Ge, and ran out, chanting “I’M LATE, I’M LATE!!”. Ran to the mail office, posted my letter to the high com, and sped walked to Tesco, bought a sandwich, and sped walked to St. Georges, whilst side stepping weird Mormon preachers trying to get people to join their church at the street corners, and mumbling “SORRY! Can’t talk, am late!” and bustle off rather quickly.

Lectures went pretty well today, I must say, though the second part of Understanding Law II was absolutely nonsensical to me. And Bradgate’s still as nonsensical as ever.

There was this weird guy who kept barging into our UL2 lecture, and playing really loud techno music from his handphone, and running out again, after shouting “YOU’RE BUSTED!!!”. The first time was pretty hilarious, the second time was like, “yea okay we know get out of the lecture theatre already!”, and the third was like “URGH! Just go die already lah, dumbass”. It was bad enough getting distracted by him when our dear lecturer only had weird pictures on his presentation. Like, when he was talking about judges being “managers” of the trial, he had the picture of a television remote control on his slide. (there wasn’t a single word on his presentation!) So it kinda forced us to sit up and listen to whatever he had to say. haha.

ANYWAYS, I think my room’s alive. It always manages to mess itself right up instantly after I clean it. =/

And yes, I didn’t really have a point for this post, and yes, I’m pretty bored! -looks at public readings and dies- Okay, back to readings. (:

And saw thick snowflakes drifting down. I think I’d want to experience being properly snowed in, with two feet worth of snow, and two days worth of food supplies. (:

The snow melts almost instantly when it hits the ground, so I never ever get to see that satisfying accumulation of snow. Apparently it snowed very very heavily once when I was back in Singapore for CNY, and it apparently got past mid shin, which I think is SUPER COOL. But well, it never gets cold enough in Sheffers for the snow to pile up properly.

Anyways, Today, I did my contract work, and I know I would have done more if I hadn’t plastered myself to the couch and watched all that movies I did today. Watched a grand total of 3.5 movies. Which were Deja vu, Grease, some random Bruce Willis show, and some random old school shit, and also, two episodes of Scrubs, and two episodes of Friends.

My flatmate was complaining that it’s always super cold when she’s going to work. She thinks it’s a conspiracy against her, to keep her from -trying- to enjoy going to work. Just two days ago, it was a wonderful 16 degrees, and I had my window wide open, and the radiator turned off. But today, my toes were freezing whilst I was in the kitchen, even with the windows closed.
Damn, what’s happening to Spring! The chirping birds, the blooming flowers! I demand that the temperature goes up! The weather is worse than when it was in the middle of winter.

Okay la, I have to admit that I think snow’s a very romantic phenomenon. Hah, but still.

Just took a few moments to shut the laptop lid, and just sit there watching the snow come down. It’s quite calming, mmm. (:

Okay, tomorrow, another new day, I shall set my agenda for tomorrow. I’m going to finish my second learning diary which is HORRIBLY OVERDUE, and also research for my project. Yes, that’s what I’m going to try to accomplish by tomorrow. -smiles rather tentatively- =/

FIGHT-O!

I think I’d never ever get used to the English Weather.

Was sitting on my throne before the window, playing mahjong, basking in the sunlight. And after two pongs, and one chi, and one hu, I suddenly realized that the room was very dark. And so, I look upwards towards the sky, and there it was, the largest grey/black cloud I’ve ever seen in the little piece of sky framed in my window.

So well, I decide to continue playing mahjong, when I started hearing little “plink plonks planks” coming from the outside. And so I look out again. And there was just this immense thick sheet of white falling from the sky, and when I looked down into the courtyard, there were little ice balls bouncing off every single surface, the cars, the roofs, and the pavement. It was a bloody hail storm.

So, after the sky decided to dump practically many sacks of little ice cubes on poor ol’ Sheffers, it started raining! Not the usual cold drizzle we usually get here, but literally a storm. Huge droplets of rain starting falling and falling and falling. So I thought, well, at least this is more normal than a hail storm.

And. after 2 mins of heavy rain, snow started falling. For a grand total of perhaps a minute or so.

And it started raining again. At this point of time, I was totally perplexed. How fickle the weather can be, huh.

Now, the sun’s brightly shining again! The sky’s totally clear, and when I say totally clear, I mean not even a single scrap of cloud marring the sheet of blue.

And you’d never know that just 15 min ago, there was a hail storm.

Anyways, I did get some work done! After 5 hours of time wasting on dai dee, mahjong and bridge, and lounging in front of the computer hugging my teddy and watching anime, I -actually- completed quite a bit of notes today, yayness!
Birthday’s going (probably) be right SMACK in the middle of my examinations once again.

And good news! Jaslin’s coming to the UK! EH EH, I did some research. Loughborough is about 1 hr 45 mins away on the train (: That’s very very good news! and it’s pretty much in the middle of the country real near Nottingham, and the East Midlands area, which means it’s very easy getting everywhere! Well, unless you’re thinking of going to places like Glasgow and Edinburgh. Oh man, I’m so eggcited for you!

oh yeah, that teddy. My flatmate bought it for me, that sweet darling. We were at the moor shopping for groceries and random stuff for the kitchen, and we walked into card factory, and she decided to get me a teddy! It’s awfully lovely to hug, and it’s so cute! and quite big too. She was actually contemplating getting me the 9.99 quid one, which is much bigger. But well, I know it’d be quite the hassle to bring around, so I told her the 5.99 one was more than enough. Just nice a size, methinks! (:

I do so want to go on another picnic again, argh! the last one was so fun. And Spring’s here! The flowers are blooming, and on the streets on grassy banks you can see canary yellow flowers blooming. Even the sun is shining more often now, and the wind isn’t as fierce as before. -smiles- Can’t wait for the roses in the Botanical Gardens to start blooming!

I feel very under-accomplished these two weeks. After coming back from Spain, and the whole miaosies thing ( ), I haven’t been able to calm myself, sit down and get some work done. I know I’ve got tutorials coming up, and a project, and an essay to hand in, but I just can’t seem to get myself to s.t.a.r.t. on WORK dammit.

Let’s see what I have to do.

So, the next few entries would be all about work work WORK, and me trying (most likely to no avail) to get my engine started once more and the pen to start writing again.
