AAWWEE, (:
Been absolutely hooked onto Maroon 5’s songs. Absolutely the best (: The ultimate to sing along to whilst packing!

Contract went well, Public went well. Thank god.

I feel loved :D ’nuff said.

Hi;

May 26, 2008

Hello, just to say I’m still alive, though barely.

Tummy upsets, my irritating period, ulcers, headaches and diarrhea has been been plaguing me, and it’s getting quite tiresome.

First paper in 2 days time. Blah.

And I turn 21 in 3 days and 21 hrs and 44 mins.

AHHHHHH.

Okay. sleep. This has GOT to be the birthday that I’m least hyped up about. =/

So.

May 19, 2008

On a hiatus!

Well, till the exams are over. Which is. soon. :(

Okay bye all. I’d be still alive, I think, don’t worry.

And now, back to fry my brains.

Arsh-pah-rah-goose.

May 16, 2008

I like doing that in the morning when I wake up, curling up under the covers in a little ball and snooze for half an hour before I get up properly and start my day.

Sleep is good.

Anyways, been lazy to update. I’ve been busy with school work, which I swear, is killing my brain. And I swear, it’s all my fault that the weather’s cold again. I shouldn’t have bought that fan. The weather’s cold again, after I got it, and I haven’t even got the proper chance to use the fan properly. Its like, 8 degrees now. Granted it is at night, but nevertheless. Before I got the fan, it was hitting 25 degrees at night, and 16 at night. But now, it’s like 16 in the day, and 8 at night. Which is really odd. Oscillating temperatures.

Oh yea, the song I’ve been waiting for FOREVER is finally out on Gendou! Changes by Base Ball Bear, from the anime Toshokan Sensou, which is gooood. =] Very nice catchy song, not just to wait for the opening theme song to be released. Funny I’ve never noticed Base Ball Bear.

But yeaaa, good stuff there.

Went for a tarot card reading, and was quite taken aback. She talked about letting go, and remembering to sing out, like the wren in the bush. And she had a lovely black cat, which reminded me so much of my baby who’s, I’m sure, in a better place right now. Her cat had piercing green eyes, pretty.

And my lilies are (amazingly!) still alive, and very much blooming. Which is an awfully wonderful thing coz it makes studying into the late night all the better to handle. A new flower just bloomed today, so lovely!

I seriously can’t wait for home. I really can’t. Though I know it’d be shit ass hot, and I’d have such a time getting used to the heat.

Lets see, what else do I have to do by the end of Sunday.

[   ] Understanding Law Learning Diaries

[   ] Practice Questions for Public

[   ] Practice Questions for Contract

[   ] Read up on Sentence Bargaining, and Plea Bargaining, and revise topics of Judges, and Jury.

[   ] Take a look at the Contract lectures handouts

Seems quite concise huh. Hah.

I’d probably not finish all, but well, it’s a start, it’s a start.

But yay anyways, Tort essay’s done, and ready to be handed up, once I finish editing the footnotes and checking the formatting. And subject choices all filled in and ready to be handed in too. Jurispudence next year! Haven’t quite decided if my reserve choice would be Advanced Criminology or Jurisprudence A.

Oh wells. I’d think about that on Sunday before I sleep. (: Okay. I’m off to bed. BYEE.

Spent the afternoon, half of it, on the grass field at Devonshire with Robyn and her engine mates, and soaked up the sunshine. Lovely.

My life has been restored to normalcy, and no longer am I a grouchy monster who keeps complaining about the heat. I have got myself a fan. YAYNESS.

Okay, UL2 now. BYE

FUCKED UP HOT.

I think when I get back to Singapore, I’d shrivel up and dehydrate, and by the time I’m collecting my luggage at the belt, I’d be crisp as a cracker that’s been fried for too long.

IT’S LIKE, HOT. Not like.. Okay, it’s a little hot, but like PHWAAAARRRR HOT AH!

It’s so ridiculous! Where’s my lovely 12-14 degrees in the day shit?

I DAMN NEED MY AIRCON. I sound so damned spoilt.

I WANT WINTER BACK. I rather be cold, than hot. At least, when you’re cold you can just put on more clothes, and you’d be fine. But when you’re hot, you can’t take off any thing. Unless you can skin yourself.

AARRGGHHHH, Okay sleep before I feel hot again.

I should get a fan, I really should. It’s not so much the temperature actually, but more of the air being as still as (insert-whatever-thing-which-is-very-still). OH, okay, as still as non-sparkling water.

Where’s the breeze when you need it. When it’s winter, and dead cold, the stupid wind blows and blows and blows, like it’s gonna rip your dammit soul out. But when it’s hot as Dante’s Inferno, it’s nowhere to be felt.

GOD, why am I ranting about the weather! Not as if this blog post is going to change anything. OKAY, SLEEP.

Kisses and Cakes.

May 9, 2008

My legs hurt!

Anyways, today, I found a HUGE volume of Agatha Christie’s books, which contains 7 of her best stories. I saw that on a high shelf, and said “BLIMEY, I’VE GOT TO HAVE THAT!”

YAY.

Okay, I think I wanna sleep early tonight.

OH YA. P.S I Love You was lovely, and I’m in love with this song called Kisses and Cakes right now, which comes from the OST. (:

And sheffield’s real hot now. Now I’m wishing it’s winter all over again. I rather be cold den hot. blargh.

Scarilicious Fun

May 7, 2008

i really enjoyed that walk! 2 1/2 hours of trooping around the city centre, and many eerie ghost stories.

It was really good fun! Though I creeped myself out quite a bit when I started visualizing everything in my mind. We were standing in the exact spots where the apparitions have been sighted or where the occurrence -actually- happened.

Sheffield’s more steeped in history that I thought it was! Apparently, there was a very cruel Lord in Sheffield, who was a tyrant and charged the people of Sheffield with exorbitant taxes. His castle is where the Market stands now, aptly called Castle Market. And Mr Dreadful said that if we did ask the security guards nicely, they could bring us to the basement to look at the actual ruins of the castle, which dates back almost more than a 1000 years. Amazing I tell you.

Most of the historically significant streets in Sheffield are still there, and the thing is, I wouldn’t have guessed that it was that way! I remember the day I had to look for a notary public, and I was in Campo Lane, looking for Paradise Square, and I’d never have guessed that more than a number of centuries ago, Campo Lane was full of pubs, and houses of women of “affection”, and walking there at night almost guaranteed a knife in your back, and every inch of your belonging stolen. Now it’s all full of solicitor firms, and the Law Society’s there too, and job centres. Amazing, what time can do!

I feel that I know Sheffield a little more, and I can’t wait to go for the next one! And with a group tour, the trip ends in a haunted house! EGGCITING, I must say! There’s more to this steel city, and I’d find out exactly that the next time I go on the trip. :)

Ghost Walk;

May 7, 2008

So eggcited! Ghost walk tonight! -cue evil laughter and eerie horror movie music-

AAWWEE, another sweet start to the day! :)

Woke up pretty early today to finish my contract seminar work. Was a little repetitive, but well. The room’s absolutely filled with that lily fragrance now that two flowers have bloomed. I’d love to upload a scent sample, but it’s impossible.

Anyways, I’ve got a tummy ache.

And a bee flew into my room again just now! There was one in the kitchen yesterday when I was studying with Sue, and it was buzzing all around me and freaking the hell outta me. Me no like bees. No like wasps more. And I took a box and tried to swat it out of the room. And it did fly out. But after that, it flew RIGHT BACK in, and flew around me, like trying to say “HUH, SWAT ME. I FLY AROUND YOU AND FREAK YOU OUT! HAH!” and flew right back out after I started shrieking.

Silly bee.

More, SILLY ME.

Woke up really bleary eyed and stoned because I had to set the alarm, and when I put on my specs and took a look outside, I spied with my little eye a lily in full bloom! I’ve been waiting forever for it (:

I love that deep pink of the petals, MUCH LOVED! (:

The song which Sue sent me, My Dil goes MMMM, has been on loop for the past 3 hours, and am still loving it every bit! Oh, reliving the days when I used to be mad over Hindi movies. Next school year would be full of plenty of wonderful Hindi movies, food experiments, and other random things that we can think off.

Am smelling the scent of lillies. It’s such a wonderful thing. I’d be doing my work in my usual spot in front of the window at the computer, with my window wide open, and the breeze slightly blowing. And when I least expect it, I suddenly sniff the sweet fragrance of lillies. And I stop, smile to myself, and take a deep breath. And start on my work again. Makes my mood better, and I’m gonna need a great deal of good mood, especially with the exams coming up.

With or without flash? I can’t decide if I do like photographs with flash, or not.

But one awfully smashing piece of news! I’m done with my Torts Essay, which I just had to read through and edit, and what nots. But the most important thing is that I’m done with it, and now I can concentrate on the rest of the subjects. Like UL2, and Public. Especially UL2, with all the odd nonsense about the Criminal Justice system that I’ve never touched before until now.

Anyways, a random picture. Just liked how the light reflected in the glass.

Just stopped and took another calming breath of that lovely intoxicating fragrance. Ahh.

My Dil goes MMMMM

Oh, and another thing. Banana goes yummily in curry!

After saute-ing the sliced bananas in the curry sauce for a bit, the curry sauce became amazingly thick and creamy, and definitely (DUH actually!) more sweet than it was before. It was already rather thick from the immense amount of coconut milk I used. One litre to be exact, of thick coconut milk in one pot of curry. Which actually isn’t a lot, but it’s definitely much more than what I use whenever I cook curry here. Anyways, the bananas weren’t altogether overwhelmed by the spicy nutty aroma of the curry, but still retain that sweet taste in the middle, whilst the outside portions of the banana chunk had totally taken on the curry. And after cooking the banana, it seemed to have become much more sweet! Thing is, I bought bananas that were a little green, and I definitely would not have eaten them right after I bought them. So yeap, applying heat to fruits does wonders! (:

aahh.

May 2, 2008

A new episode of Junjou Romantica is out! Oh, the love!

This is what gets me through an utterly draining day. Battling the whimsical inflictions of pain on my head by god knows what, and crashing for three hours, waking to a twilight sky, and a seemingly empty brain, and zoning out the entire of the 3 hours later over dinner, a movie, and 15 pages on the Administrative Ombusman, this new episode is really cheering me up.

Oh man, I’ve fallen in the abyss of needing something animated to cheer me up. Oh blargh, okay, I’m speechless.

Ah, well, Junjou Romatica’s something be happy about, to me.

ARGH, GROW HAIR, GROW! Damn the stupid hard water here. :(

Super tired, been sleeping late, and waking up early. It’s like these couple of days, it seems that I’ve got some trouble falling asleep. Usually by 10 mins or so, I’d be out cold and sleeping like a log, but now i can toss and turn for like an hour, and still be wide awake :(

My bed’s all piled with jackets and stuff. I think I really should have bought a smaller size for my Columbia hoodie. :( It’s much too big. I shud have got it two sizes smaller, like M or something. Now whenever I wear it i just look ridiculously puffy. It’s nonsense :(

And today, I bought a law hoodie, yay. I think it’d be nice :)

Oh wells, I think I shall try to pack up my bed and go to bed. I need some good rest.
