I caught a burglar mouse in mousehunt!!

My second day in Sheffield;

It has been filled with really weird encounters, I must say.

Went to Sainsbury with florence yesterday, and in the supermarkey, this guy came up to me, and said, “I like the way you’re carrying your cooking oil, just like a baby”. I was holding the cooking oil in my arms coz the basket was pretty full, and I didn’t want to squash the tauges, so I carried it. And it was way more comfortable to cradle it den to hold it by it’s cap or something. haha. That was super duper odd.

The next odd encounter was when I was going over to Smin’s place for the second time that day to pick up my pot (COOKING CURRY!) and this random old man stopped me, grabbed my hand, and asked me how I was. LOL. ERH, so I just dropped his hand, said that I was in a hurry, and rushed off. =/

Gee.

Back in Sheffield;

So, yes, it’s back to Sheffield already. Things doesn’t seem to have changed much. The roads are still the same, the room’s the same, and the Moor is still the same. It doesn’t feel like I’ve even left, to be honest!

Luggage moving wasn’t that bad yesterday, considering the fact I didn’t bring much this time round. Still had another 10 kilos to go in fact!

Muscles aching nonetheless, from carrying stuff up the stairs, but not as bad as the last time I came here! Only one arm’s aching, ha ha ha.

Missing home acutely now, especially family and friends. Bleah. I’d take a few days to get out of this I-Miss-Home mode.
Nevertheless, it feels good to be back here, somehow. (:

Okay. so the date of departure’s coming, and right round the corner on Thursday night. TIME FLIES! That’s all I can say 0_0
Goes to show how much time I’ve spent wiling my time away and stoning and hibernating. haha.

The world is just awesome;

Back from Malaysia!

Spent two nights in Ipoh, and one night in Penang, and had loads of fun

Ipoh was great, stayed with Jiar li and family, and had the chance to meet up with her friend Yvonne, and Ashwin too. Loads of nice foods, tauge chicken, hor fun, dry curry mee, satay, and lovely popiah, and a lot more which I fail to remember. After, took the bus over to Penang, and reached about noon or so.

Smin told us to call her when “左边是海，右边也是海“ part of our journey, that really tickled me. Her description powers amaze me sometimes! Penang, as usual, was filled with food food and more food! Like lok- lok (Me and Smin ate like 40 RM worth……….), Penang Laksa in all its tangy assam and fishy aroma, and Char Kway Teow! We also had stuff like popiah, lor bak, and uh.. CHENDOL!

Oh yes, bought two more robots! Couldnt help it, they were SO CUTE! and little Spongebob Purses, and mini glasses, and (hiak hiak) cheap anime box sets! heh heh heh. okay I’m gonna go down and wait for my pizza to come. toodles!

Doing all the right touristy stuff;

Been having loads of fun since Jiar li and Smin came over! (: doing all the touristy stuff, which is very enjoyable. and loads of walking too!

Will be in malaysia from tmr night till friday perhaps? (or saturday?) ah I don’t know. I’d be back when I am (:
